[Aireacha] Seachtain na Gaeilge / anniversary / AOH hall

I just spoke with John Biesty, and as we suspected it is hard to get time in March. However, as of right now, we could get the hall from 1:30 to 6:00 on either March 8th or March 22nd. I think that might be a long enough time to have a nice event. We wouldn't have to do food, either - we could supply bagels and stuff for lunch, maybe. The bar will be open and available for people to hang around after 6:00, and they might have the buffet there as an option for dinner. The cost of the hall is not bad at all, as we will get the members rate. What do you all think? Should I book it?

For those of you not at the board meeting, we would like to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the school (2008) during Seachtain na Gaeilge, by having an Irish language day. We would show Irish films, have some workshops and presentations. We would invite all the Daltaí na Gaeilge people and whoever wants to come, and charge a minimal fee to pay for the hall.

We need to make a decision on this ASAP, as the hall will book up. They have something until 1:00 (probably the dance school) and there is a party at 8:00.

Ag fanacht le bhur dtuairimí,

Séamas
